World Heavyweight Champion Edge def. Batista
After a spinebuster seemingly sealed the win for Batista, Vickie Guerrero stopped the referee's count by grabbing his foot, keeping Edge's championship reign alive.
It was then that Edge knocked out referee Mickie Henson, and Vickie brought out Chavo Guerrero as the special guest referee. As Chavo strolled out, Batista got his hands on Vickie, hoping to punish her for the months of anguish she has caused him. The Animal threw Vickie Guerrero over the top rope, but his back was turned to Edge, who used his gold across the already weakened skull of Batista to steal the win.
ECW Championship Match
Mark Henry def. Big Show and Kane
Kane suffered a knee injury early on in the contest, leaving him outside of the ring for much of the match. After regaining his strength, the Big Red Machine put everything he had left into throwing Big Show off of the top turnbuckle, leaving both giants involved in the maneuver gasping on the canvas. Henry quickly capitalized with a splash and a three-count to become ECW Champion.
WWE Tag Team Championship Match
WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison & The Miz def. Finlay & Hornswoggle
Using strategic teamwork, Miz & Morrison mounted a strong offense to start the match. Later, the duo punished and taunted Hornswoggle. As Hornswoggle's father came to the rescue, it looked as if the pair was going to turn the tables against the champions. But just as Hornswoggle set up for a Tadpole Splash, the Shaman of Sexy put a stop to it, ripping Hornswoggle from the top rope to pick up the pinfall.
Intercontinental Championship
Kofi Kingston def. Chris Jericho
The Jamaican Superstar, who was sent to Raw in Wednesday’s Supplemental Draft, would be the one challenging Jericho for the Intercontinental gold.
After an impressive show against an in-ring veteran, it seemed Kofi’s luck had run out with Y2J having him locked in the Walls of Jericho in the center of the ring. Much to the surprise of everyone, Shawn Michaels came through the audience and laid out Lance Cade at ringside with Sweet Chin Music. HBK then distracted Jericho just long enough for Kofi to regain his composure and pick up the win to become the new Intercontinental Champion.
United States Championship Match
United States Champion Matt Hardy def. Chavo Guerrero
Throughout the bout, Chavo keyed in on Hardy’s left knee, delivering punishing attacks and submission moves. Bam Neely even went after the champion’s knee when the ref was distracted. But each time, Hardy fought through the pain and found a way to continue. In the end, it was a Twist of Fate from Hardy that put an end to Chavo’s hopes of bringing the gold to “The Family.”
Women's Championship Match
Women's Champion Mickie James def. Katie Lea Burchill
This fast-paced match between two of the Sexiest Women on Television was a battle of skill as worthy as the prestigious championship gold that hung in the balance. After suffering a devastating shoulder injury, which the ruthless Katie Lea exploited beyond the limits, Mickie found the inner strength inside herself and sealed the smug challenger’s fate with a climatic DDT.
World Tag Team Championship Match
Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes def. World Tag Team Champions Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes
As the match got underway, DiBiase demanded that he face Hardcore Holly first. As the veteran Superstar approached DiBiase, Cody Rhodes attacked Holly from behind, revealing himself as the mystery partner in question and allowing DiBiase to decimate Rhodes’ former partner.
What hasn’t been revealed at this time, however, is why Rhodes would change sides so abruptly, selling his partner and mentor up the river. Though DiBiase was dependent upon Rhodes to win the World Tag Team gold, Rhodes could have maintained the championship alongside Hardcore Holly. Instead, the second-generation Superstar decided to combine his wrestling legacy with another son of a wrestling great, putting the team of Rhodes & Holly out to pasture, and creating a new team with a priceless pedigree and championship gold around their waists.

Truckers usually provide a steady stream of business for these establishments, which are often located in isolated areas far from cities due to legal restrictions; but their distance, combined with rising gas costs, have resulted in a drop in visitors.

Model Ruslana Korshunova Dead at Age 20
A model who had been featured on the covers of European editions of Elle and Vogue magazines fell to her death from a Manhattan building Saturday in an apparent suicide, New York City police said.
Ruslana Korshunova, 20, known for her distinctive long hair and green eyes, was killed in a fall onto busy Water Street at 2:30 p.m. outside the condo building in the Financial District where she lived.
It appeared Korshunova fell from the balcony of her ninth-floor apartment, police said.
Investigators still were investigating the circumstances of the fall Saturday evening. It was unclear if anyone else was in the apartment at the time of the fall, police said.
The city medical examiner is to determine the cause of death.
Korshunova was originally from Kazakstan, a former Russian republic, according to published reports. Since 2003, she had appeared on the covers of European editions of Elle and Vogue magazines, and in ads for DKNY, Vera Wang, Marc Jacobs and other companies.
Korshunova was represented in New York by IMG Models, a top-tier international agency that lists supermodels Kate Moss and Heidi Klum among its clients as well as many Hollywood and sports celebrities.
An IMG representative confirmed Saturday that Korshunova was a client but declined to comment further.
